Kathleen Barrett grew up in Chicago and now works in Shipston-on-Stour, England.
Her figurative painting and multi cultural subjects have led to working alongside
theatre and opera companies,
portraying their productions from rehearsal through final performances.
This includes a complete Wagner Ring Cycle series of paintings and
drawings from the Vienna opera.
She also founded The Shakespeare Marionette Company and has created
marionettes for Macbeth and A Midsummer's Nights Dream.
The work ranges from large oil paintings, to miniatures in egg tempera,
